Kevin has 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, with more than 15 of these advising on equity release mortgages. Based in Yorkshire, Kevin works with our customers and professionals in the North East of England, helping them to fulfil their dreams and achieve their goals.
Kevin has specialised in equity release since 2002. His industry and product knowledge, combined with his high standards and focus on client care, have most recently led to him training and supervising other equity release advisers.
Starting his career in retail management, Kevin moved into financial services in 1988, first with Refuge Assurance, before moving onto Pearl Assurance and then Norwich Union. It was after five years at Norwich Union acting as a consultant to British Rail employees on their pension funds that he moved into the Personal Finance Division and started advising on and writing equity release mortgages.
This was where he found his niche, and he has never looked back! Leaving Norwich Union in 2008 to join an independent equity release venture, Kevin developed successful relationships with other professionals, helping them to help their clients by offering expert advice for those who no longer qualified for conventional mortgages.
On joining 55+ Equity Release, Kevin said: ‘I am delighted to be able to bring my expertise to 55+ Equity Release to help even more people fulfil their dreams by offering our expertise and exceptional customer experience to people in Yorkshire and East Riding.’
